It conjures up a very definite emotional reaction in me... I'm not sure precisely what.. Longing? Striving? Entanglement in the steps on the way to reaching goals and dreams? A very evocative and well done piece.
i only started it to show a person breaking thru and following a dream by reaching for a Star.
ur comment was really interesting and tnx for taking interest in my work.

Hm.. To me, her hair tangled in the decorations and the slightly.. weeping/dripping nature of the decorations themselves suggests tension beyond even the simple fact of her having to reach so high. I really do like the piece! It intrigues me.
Beautiful job on the hair, I love how you draw hair! Your concept is also a bit paradoxical, in a good way of course, the girl reaches for her soul as her hopes die... that's a bit unnerving when you think about it, why would someone want to retrieve her soul, a subject commonly associated with emotions and feelings, at the point when everything is crumbling? Does she long for pain as everything ends? This is definitely a fascinating concept, I salute to your greatness once again.
